A native New Yorker, Lisa Miller Autry is a Christian leader who believes that true life and empowerment are found in Jesus Christ and His Kingdom principles. She brings these values to every individual, organization, and community she serves.

Lisa is a retired bank executive, entrepreneur, author, and ordained minister with a proven record of helping people and organizations grow strategically, economically, and spiritually.

During her 32-year banking career, Lisa served as Senior Vice President and Dallas Market Manager for a $40 billion financial institution, leading commercial banking teams and serving as a trusted partner to executive leadership. Earlier, she held key roles in corporate and community development lending and led corporate banking training programs for new professionals. A recognized trailblazer, Lisa was the first African-American corporate banking executive in Texas for her national bank and one of the first in the state overall.

Lisa is the author of Holy Borrowers: Equipping Church Leaders for Building Finance, a practical guide helping churches secure and steward financing for their facilities. Her work is used by church leaders nationwide and in Ghana, West Africa.

As an ordained minister and missions mobilizer, Lisa teaches and preaches nationally and abroad, focusing on spiritual formation, empowerment, and leadership development. She serves alongside her husband, Dr. Terrence Autry, founder and Lead Pastor of Christ Community Church in Richardson, Texas.

Lisa holds degrees in Economics (Brown University), Finance & Marketing (UCLA Anderson School of Management), and Cross-Cultural Ministries (Dallas Theological Seminary).

She has served on numerous nonprofit and ministry boards and currently chairs Let’s Elevate, Inc., focused on economic empowerment for underserved youth. Lisa is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the National Council of Negro Women. She and Dr. Autry have been married for more than 36 years and are the proud parents of two sons, Terrence II and Daniel.
